The Court of Appeals of Georgia agreed with John Monroe Law, P.C., that Thomas Bordeaux, the Judge of the Probate Court of Chatham County, was required to issue a Georgia weapons carry license to a firm client. The client applied for a license in 2019 and Bordeaux denied the application the same day. The firm then sued the probate judge in the Superior Court of Chatham County and obtained a court order (write of mandamus) requiring Bordeaux to issue the license to the client. Bordeaux appealed, but the Court of Appeals agreed with John Monroe Law, P.C.
